35 ragazzi sindaci con la fascia tricolore, provenienti da 7 regioni (Marche, Emilia-Romagna, Piemonte, Veneto, Campania, Puglia e Sicilia) , si sono incontrati nei giorni 8 and 9 maggio a Morrovalle, un piccolo comune delle Marche, in provincia di Macerata, per celebrare il 35° anniversario del primo Consiglio Comunale dei Ragazzi in Italia.

A rappresentare il Veneto, 7 comuni delle province di Padova, Treviso, Vicenza, Verona e Venezia. Oltre alle delegazioni italiane, presente anche una delegazione francese della città di Schiltgheim (Alsazia), dove, nel 1979, si sperimentò a livello europeo il format del Consiglio Comunale dei Ragazzi. Due giornate importanti per Stefano e i suoi colleghi, durante le quali hanno potuto conoscere Sindaci e Consiglieri di tutta Italia, oltre che la storia del Consiglio Comunale dei Ragazzi, nato in Italia 35 anni fa proprio a Morrovalle (MC).

La coincidenza della data con la Giornata Europea ha condotto la riflessione sul pensiero di Vincenzo Cento, pedagogista marchigiano, ideatore degli “Stati Uniti d’Europa”, illustrato dalla prof. Simonetta Torresi, e sulla dimensione europea dell’educazione, assieme al prof. Al termine della giornata, i ragazzi sindaci con fascia tricolore hanno rinnovato il loro giuramento.

Al Raduno nazionale, organizzato dal professor Giuseppe Adernò, preside coordinatore dei Consigli Comunali dei Ragazzi, in collaborazione con la professoressa  Arianna Simonetti, Dirigente Scolastica  dell’ Istituto Comprensivo “via Piave” di Morrovalle , sono stati concessi i patrocini del Senato della Repubblica, della Camera dei Deputati, della Provincia Regionale di Macerata e del Comune di Morrovalle.
